The air carrier behind five-minute food delivery

Dinner in the backyard, five minutes after launch. Our partner Flytrex is on a mission to make drone delivery an everyday convenience — we support it as the FAA Part 135 air carrier flying the network, with 250,000+ orders already delivered.

How it works

The last mile, minus the roads

Customers order through the Flytrex app. Our certificated flight crews launch the order from a delivery station near partner stores, fly a pre-approved route, and lower the package gently by wire into the customer's yard. Flytrex built the experience; we make sure every flight behind it meets air carrier standards.

  • ~5-minute typical delivery time from launch
  • ~5.5 lb payload — a full family meal or grocery basket
  • Precise wire-lowered drop to front or back yards
  • Every flight operated under our Part 135 air carrier certificate

FAQ

Retail drone delivery questions

How fast is drone delivery compared to car delivery?

A typical delivery reaches the customer about five minutes after launch, versus 30–45 minutes by car. Drones fly point to point without traffic.

What can a delivery drone carry?

Roughly 5.5 lb per flight — a family meal, a grocery top-up, or small retail goods, lowered by wire into the customer's yard.

Is drone delivery legal in the U.S.?

Yes, when flown by an FAA-certificated air carrier. We hold a standard Part 135 certificate, granted in January 2023 — the approval required for scaled commercial drone delivery.

How does a restaurant or retailer get started?

Through our partner Flytrex — they run the consumer app, brand partnerships, and logistics platform. We support their mission as the certificated air carrier operating the flights.
